Really gorgeous ring

My ring is 14k yellow gold and the stone is colorless, yet it picks up the warm tone from the gold. I think it is so beautiful. I recommend if you get yellow gold don't get the near colorless stone. I think it would be too yellow. My fiance had the gold done in matte. It looks almost antique. Many many complements, people comment on how it looks delicate on my hand, but the stone is so big. It looks tastefull because it sits very low. It is really comfortable and I am really so happy with it. It sparkles and catches the light distracting me because I like yo look at it! One other note, marquise and oval always get a bow tie effect especially in a shallow stone. This is normal, but if you mind that, get a different shape!
