Diamondrensu Australia Warranty Guarantee

At Diamondrensu Australia, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery. In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, we provide a Warranty Guarantee for our valued customers on their jewellery purchases.

Our Warranty covers manufacturing defects and ensures that your jewellery will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the entire duration of your ownership. If any such defects arise, we commit to repairing or replacing the item at no additional cost to you.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  2. The Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase provided.
  3. Routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to resizing, cleaning, and prong tightening, are not covered under the warranty.
  4. Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or any form of modification by a third party will void the warranty.
  5. General wear and tear is not covered by our warranty. See more information below.
  6. Loss or theft of diamonds or gemstones is not covered; therefore, we recommend obtaining insurance to protect against such events.
  7. Any unauthorised alterations or repairs performed by other jewellers will void the warranty.
  8. The warranty is valid only if the jewellery has been properly cared for and maintained as per our guidelines.

This Warranty Guarantee is provided in addition to the statutory rights and guarantees conferred by the Australian Consumer Law. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and confidence in the enduring quality of your Diamondrensu Australia jewellery.

Claiming Your Warranty

Manufacturing defects typically become apparent within the initial months of wear. Diamondrensu Australia will repair or replace any item identified as defective due to manufacturing, with no associated charges.

To avail of the Warranty Guarantee, please contact our customer service team with your original order information. Our team will guide you through the warranty process and assist with any necessary arrangements for repair or replacement.

Please note we charge a two-way postage fee of AUD$180 that is required as a postage deposit. If the issue is found to be a manufacturing defect, your postage deposit will be refunded in full. If repairs are not covered by the warranty, you will be provided with a quotation for the associated repair fee before any further action is taken.

General Wear and Tear

Common jewellery issues that are considered part of normal wear and tear, and therefore not classified as manufacturing defects, include dents, abrasions, and scratches on settings. Metals, being malleable, exhibit signs of wear over time. To maintain the longevity of your jewellery, we recommend an annual assessment by a jeweller to ensure secure stone settings. A professional clean and polish can restore your ring to its brand-new condition.

Furthermore, damages such as chips, scratches, nicks, and breakages on gemstones due to wear and tear or accidents are not covered. While lab-grown diamonds and moissanite are among the hardest gemstones, they are not indestructible. Gemstones set with exposed edges, like those in prong settings, are at a higher risk of damage.

Other instances not covered include pits and holes in settings caused by exposure to corrosive chemicals, the discolouration of precious metals due to various environmental factors, and the natural wearing down of precious metal components over time. Prongs that get caught, bent, or worn down through everyday wear, leading to stone loss, are also excluded.

Jewellery Care

To ensure that your jewellery remains covered under our comprehensive Warranty, proper care and maintenance are essential. Regularly inspect your jewellery for any signs of damage, loose stones, or wear. Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or abrasive materials, as these can adversely affect its integrity. When not in use, store your pieces in a clean, dry place, preferably in individual pouches or compartments, to prevent scratches and tangling. Refrain from wearing jewellery during strenuous activities or while engaging in tasks that may subject it to undue stress. Additionally, periodic professional cleanings and inspections by qualified jewellers are recommended to identify and address any issues promptly. Adhering to these guidelines will not only help preserve the beauty of your jewellery but also ensure its continued coverage under our Warranty.
