Our role — please read

Diamondrensu Australia does not sell, arrange or advise on insurance. We are not an insurance broker, agent or authorised representative, and we hold no Australian Financial Services Licence.

We share JewelCover with our customers because we think a specialist policy is worth considering — nothing more. If you decide to take out cover, you arrange it directly with JewelCover. Your policy, premiums, documents and any future claim sit entirely between you and them. We can't apply on your behalf, quote a premium, answer questions about the policy, or lodge a claim for you.

How to arrange cover

• 1. Have your purchase amount handy. JewelCover asks for the amount on your purchase receipt — your Diamondrensu tax invoice — or your most recent valuation.

• 3. Complete your application. You'll add your item details, choose a start date, upload your documents and pay directly with JewelCover.

• 4. Keep your paperwork safe. Store your policy schedule with your Diamondrensu invoice and any certificates — you'll want both if you ever claim.

Warranty vs insurance — what covers what

Our warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months

• Lifetime colour guarantee on lab-grown diamonds and moissanite

• Chipping of the main centre stone for 3 years

• Melee stones that fall out within 3 years

• Free lifetime cleaning at our Kirrawee store

Our warranty does not cover — and insurance may:

• Losing your ring, or having it stolen

• Accidental damage — a knock, a crush, a stone lost to an impact

• Damage from misuse, neglect or unauthorised repairs

• General wear and tear over the years

If you ever need to claim

You lodge your claim directly with JewelCover. Because their policies let you choose your own jeweller, you're welcome to nominate Diamondrensu Australia — we'll happily quote on the repair or remake and work with your insurer's process.
